Giving Up Thumb Sucking
October 8th, 2008With two young kids under the age of 3, it was sometimes a case of just trying to survive rather than always doing the right thing, and this meant for the sake of a few hours sleep we introduced our daughter to a dummy.
We had done the same thing with our son, and when the time came to ween him off there was no problem. With my daughter however, she replaced the dummy with her thumb, and so started a habit that was to become a feature of her night-time ritual.

These days there is so much to do for pre-school kids and children love getting out and meeting other youngsters. It’s really important for them to socialize and start to learn some of the social skills that will set them up for school and later life.

August 26th, 2008Last week I talked about 6 ways to start getting some additional cash. This week I want to show you a great technique for decluttering your house and for finding things to sell on ebay or Craigslist.
I don’t know about you but having a lot of clutter in a room seems to add to my stress levels but I’m not naturally tidy so I have to work at it.
So pick one room and have a big clear-out. I have found a great technique for de-cluttering. Start with 3 boxes and one rubbish sack. Label the boxes: ‘Keep and Use’, ‘Give Away or Sell’, ‘Keep and Store’.
Earning Extra Income

Every one of us is in a different situation, has a different financial position, different interests, different skills and capabilities so there is no one answer. Let’s face it if there was one answer and it was easy every one would be doing it, but there are a million answers and you must figure out the ones that suits you best.
